With a view to the increasing miniaturization of components, the demands to the PCBs are also rising. For this need blind- and buried vias are used, which are completely closed by a special procedure – the so called resin-plugging. Although the vias are filled and capped with resin and afterwards prepared by grinding for the next copper plating.
The advantages of the resin plugging are good adhesive strength, sandability and best metallization.
